Thank you for visiting my site.
This is the third time I’ve updated this introduction in the past year. The pace at which the world is changing has reshaped my vision and dreams for both my work and this space—faster than I ever expected. What began as a simple hobby photography art website is now transforming into something broader. Increasingly, I find myself needing to express the weight of emotion and the urgency to speak out in these fractious times but in a manner that brings beauty or insight.
So, I’m shaking things up around here. This site will evolve into a canvas for varied expressions and themes. I plan to keep expanding my photography, digital art, and visual experiments. But I’m also adding writing to the mix—stories, essays, and occasional travel reflections. My main focus, however, will be on both visual and written works that aim to challenge or soothe the current depressive drift toward the global normalization of authoritarianism.
With all that is going on at present, one can become lost in the daily barrage of news and social media. This is not what humanity should be shaping and engaging on in my opinion. There is so much more to us, the world and indeed the universe we live in. From a slow deep breath taking in the fresh coolness of a morning breeze to the radiant red sky in the evening that emcompasses our eyes, the world we live in is a beautiful place that we should never have disconnected from. There is balance and beauty to be found in a given moment. For all the maddening engagement we are forced to do, we often, if not always forget that a deep breath and resultant slow relaxation of thought can open us up to greater and more balanced perception of the world around us with its wonders.
With that in mind, my efforts presented here shall be with as little bias as possible. Expression through visuals or the written word to provide a moment of excape for each visitor that ventures here.
